Every Ukrainian long-stay migration file we have ever opened — for a Pakistani citizen or otherwise — moves through the same seven structural steps. Different routes have different inputs, but the structure does not change. When a broker offers to skip a step, the answer is always no.
Step 1 — Choose lawful ground
Identify which of the five categories (work, study, business, family, narrow categorical) applies. If none does, you do not have a long-stay route. No broker can manufacture one.
Step 2 — Originator in Ukraine moves first
Employer files for work permit. Or university issues enrolment. Or company is registered. Or family member sponsors. The Ukrainian side moves first; the applicant supplies documents, not filings.
Step 3 — Pakistani document chain
Passport, education, experience, police clearance, medical. Apostilled and translated. NADRA, MoFA, HEC are in this step. Skip any link and the file fails at the consular check.
Step 4 — Type D visa application
Lodged at the Ukrainian consulate / VFS Global with the foundational document and the certified pack. Biometrics captured.
Step 5 — Entry to Ukraine
Travel on type D within validity. At the border, declare correct purpose. Misdeclaration triggers refusal and ban.
Step 6 — Temporary Residence Permit
Filed with the State Migration Service within the deadline indicated on entry. Includes biometric capture and address registration.
Step 7 — Address and tax registration
Address registration with local authorities, taxpayer identification number, and (where applicable) bank account opening.
